Merry Christmas everyone!
Throughout the last half of 2008, our family has really begun to look at ways to save money, do a bit of 'green-washing' and take a look at how we consume and dispose of our waste.
Our neighborhood does not have a curbside recycling program, nor do I really want one as our current sanitation department's trucks would spend more gas and fumes picking up our various bits and pieces, but I would rather bring them to our local center. This way we have absolute control of what is put into the bins. What an opportunity the day after Christmas! Oh the amount of wrapping paper (Mixed Paper), cardboard, plastic cases we can generate!
Hopefully, we will be able to add some useful tidbits about saving money, recycling, growing your own products, check back often!
